The story of Birkenstock Northwest was being written long before our doors opened in 2001. Two decades prior, owner Brian Haberman and his parents purchased John’s Shoes and Clothing on Main Street in downtown Battle Ground. John's carried a wide variety of merchandise including leather saddles, tack, work wear, western boots, denim, and other clothing.

John's was an important part of the Battle Ground community for many years - serving families in need, and partnering with local businesses in Clark County. Here at Birkenstock Northwest, we aim to embody the spirit of John's - providing top notch customer service and building relationships with people from all over the world.
